Sony MDR-RF850RK Wireless Closed Headphones

I have had the same experience as other reviewers, Sony were better than Philips, but neither emulate wired headphones in terms of quality.


Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Noisy etc.
I am not in position to say whether my problem applies to all wireless headphones, but these always have a distinct background noise. When I use it with my TV/DVD the sound from the TV goes away suddenly every 5 minutes or so and is replaced with a loud noise, and the only way to get the sound back is to go to the TV, take the plug out and re-insert it. Not really what I expected. I live in a house with wireless broadband, wireless phones, mobile phones etc., that could be an explanation, and the reason why I do not rate them 1. I'm going back to wired headphones!
