Sony MDR-V300 Headphones with Neodymium Magnet - Folding Design
Rating: - I love these. Mint!
I had to snap these up, as I saw these retail in shop for £30! So at nearly half the price these are a bargain, and a nice bit of kit they are. They are comortable for a long time, but do become a bit painfull on the ears after about 2 hours of gaming (I use these for my PC). The sound is brilliant, the bass is very crisp and clear. They come with a jack adapter too and the cable is quite long, not so good if you plan to use these on the bus for example, but its great for PC use. The swivel ear pieces are great too. Highly recommended product!
Rating: - Good Quality.....Stylish appearance...it's all here!
I purchased these for my Sony CD player. I was also looking for a set of headphones with the adapter to play in most amps and keyboards; it's all in this package. As for the quality; when the Sony CD player (DNE-511) was turned to the max digital bass setting; the bass is absolutely amazing for a set of headphones. The frequency response for these are 16k-22k, so descent reproduction of both lows and highs are attained; at least that is what I thought from listening to music also on my Sound Card where the treble and bass were maxxed out on the PC. Good Sound Quality still remained. Despite the specifications saying the plug type is 3.5mm, it also gives you that 1.5-Inch Adapter for use in most High Fi Sets. A Good bargain for the money all around. Got a hi-fi or need better audio quality and not wanting to break the bank? Get These. You won't regret it!
Rating: - Excellent
For the price, these headphones are well worth it. They can handle the base really well and is great for home listening, not to mention that nice 3m cord, who needs wireless anyway? Get these.
Rating: - Best value for money
I have never come accross a pair of headphones with such a deep bass for less than £20 (let alone these are Sony ones!) so I found these a bargain.
They are perfect if you want hear every heart-synchronising bass beat in your fave r'n'b song. These also give very crisp and clear sound, very good for classical music. In fact, I found these headphones good for a very wide range of music - I listen to everything from rock/alternative to classical. I can barely tell the difference in sound quality when I use these to listen to MP3s(at least 128kbps) rather than CDs.
There is one downpoint though... I wear glasses and these get rather painful for the back of my ears after a few hours of wear. But I guess that is often the case with over-ear headphones and glasses-wearers. However, I think that if the earpiece were designed a bit bigger, it would be more comfortable anyway.
But wearing them, these do look pretty cute on - I have quite a few compliments for them. So, yeah, they look good on.
So overall, I would give these 4.5 stars for the annoyance with the comfort issue BUT the sound quality and price makes me feel guilty for giving these any less than 4 stars.

I got two, one for me and one for my love. So surprised by the quality and the low price by amazon. from v300, each instrument is audibly seperated and clear.
