Awesome! :) just got it today for my Nikon D40 and it's better that I thought it would be! Very good for the price people shouldn't be put off by it and it's also really good for other SLR cameras! ^_^
Rating: - Amazing tripod!
This tripod is the best one that I bought so far.
I am a rail enthusiast and film trains with my new camcorder from amazon which is amazing too. This has made my videos much better than just using my hand. I highly recommend it for station filming.
Only problem is that it is shift. But after a bit, you get used to it.

Received my tripod earlier on today, could not be happier.
Arrived in its own compact carry bag, and when set up it seems very sturdy.
I particularly like all of the little extras. Such as the carry handle on the side, the two spirit levels built in, the swivelling rubber feet, and the quick release head that means i can move my camera on and off with ease.
I dont see why you would want to pay a fortune for an expensive tripod when you can pay under £15 for this little gem.
Dont be put off by the price - sadly some will, but im glad i wasnt.

Everything works, but you only get what you pay for. I was hoping for better quality after reading the reviews.
I'm not particularly disappointed as I won't be using it that often. If I did require a tripod for regular use, I would certainly buy a more expensive and better quality item that had a more solid feel.
For the little cost of the tripod, it's good value.

This tripod is a steal. I got it for only £15 delivered from Banford Trading. The tripod is light, comes in its own bag, has a removable but very plasticky quick-release base to avoid unscrewing it each time and is able to support modest camcorders. A variable height adjuster with winding handle is a good addition. However, this is where the good news ends for videographers.
The big problem with this tripod relates to panning motions - it is jerky as the plastic bearing surfaces slip then grip and greasing won't help as part of the problem is that the central shaft of the tripod twists slightly as you pan aswell. The vertical axis has a smooth motion but panning is a big no-go! If you only need to set up the camera and leave it then this is cheap and works but ANY panning is a waste of time. Sorry but don't make the same mistake if you need to record movement. I'm keeping it but I'll carry on looking for a better one (probably more expensive too!)
