Having said that, I've use them most days, so they have been well tested. I still love the sound quality, they are comfortable to wear over the ears. They feel less secure if you wear them down your front though Downside is eating with them on is noisy as is walking with hard soled shoes, you hear the sound thought your body, which isn't to everyone's liking. And you'll have to replace them after 2 years. Would I buy them again? I'm not sure (no pun intended) If they lasted longer than 2 years without a doubt. As it is? I'm going to shop around for replacements and see what else is out there.... Rating:  - Hmm....I've got to admit, these are VERY overrated. For my first set of 'serious' headphones, i wasn't sure what to expect, but i had high hopes after all the reviews. Unfortunately, these did not deliver at all. I read that if you put these far into your ear, and use the sponge tips then you can get really good sound isolation and bass. This is simply not true. The bass response was terrible, and adjuting the EQ on my iPod just caused the sound to be distorted. Even my friends could not get these to work as the reviews suggested. After giving up and trying some Shure E3C's and E4C's, the were much better, and ultimate ears super.fi 5 pro blow these was out of the water. Rating: - Incredible sound, poor ergonomics!!!There's no doubt about the sound coming from these earphones. It is crisp and effective (by effective I mean that the earphones isolate and the sound quality means that they entertain too). For such an expense I would certainly expect such quality. I still had trouble finding suitable bass but I do believe that the foam attachments would have soon sorted this as the earphones wore in. However, I had this product for only 2 weeks. My reasons are as follows: - The earphones are large and at times slightly cumbersome to handle.Sometimes i get very picky because i expect comfort for this price but most earphones do fit me eventually and these didn't! - The wrap around wire round the back is probably great for musicians, but I work in the City and I wanted a pair of earphones that would be easy to use and not take about 3-4 mins just wraping around my ear, putting behind my back and then sorting out my music (i like things on the go...which leads to my third point...) -I go to the gym alot and I need earphones that are going to stay in. These are NOT GYM EARPHONES! I kept having to push them back in even during stretches, let alone running! Overall there is no doubt that ESure know what they're doing, but these earphones need patience (alot) and even then I didn't find them suitable. Read More Rating:  - my review!at first i was really dissappointed with these headphones as they were very tinny and not bassy. They were fitted correctly and i really felt peed off for paying 50 quid. Over time i noticed the sound getting deeper and much better equalised, and now im in love with these headphones. a must buy!!!! Rating: - Great entry level IEMI've used this for a couple of years already and love them. It isn't the best in-ear headphones, but for the price you do get what you pay for. Isolation is wonderful, believe me as I've been using it on numerous occasions while travelling inside a noisy Tube carriage. Leakage is minimal and I never had a complain regarding this by fellow passengers as well as my partner while I listen to music in bed. With low impedance you won't have trouble driving these headphones. On my Walkman A818 for example I found it very comfortable listening to it at a volume level of 12 (out of 30). Sounds are rich and detailed, overall providing a richer enveloping sound than my partner's CX300. If I have to be picky I will say the bass is rather on the low side, and the low end aren't as detailed as mids and highs. The only issue I had with it is the cable tears rather easily near where the cables loop over the ears. Unfortunately I've lost my receipt (I bought this 2 1/2 years ago) while moving, so I was unable to obtain a replacement. It wasn't Shure's fault that I was unable to present a proof of purchase.
