The visor fitting holds enough CDs to keep you happy for a few journeys, and you get a better overall idea of what you have in there compared to a traditional folder storage system. It's also really easy to fit and remove (using the velcro straps). I drive a small car with an extremely small glove compartment, so this a welcome way to free up some space. Security isn't really an issue as it folds up and away when you're parked, hiding the discs from view.
